第２回の問題タイプ別攻略法では、Speak About the Photoの特徴やスコアをあげるためのコツについて解説します。
この問題は前回のWrite About the Photoに続き、DET全問題の中で７つあるアルゴリズム（AI）により採点される問題の一つとなっています。またWrite About the Photo以上に限られた時間内に多くの英語をアウトプットする必要があり、日常的に英語で見たものを表現力豊かに描写するトレーニングが必要な問題となっています。

▶概要
- 写真とタイマー、そしてRECORDING（録音）ボタンが見えます。
- 写真と指示文が表示され、２０秒の準備時間の後、自動的に録音画面に進みます。
- ３０秒以上話す必要があります。
- 最長録音時間：９０秒
- 録音チャンスは、１度のみ
- 出題数：１問
▶重要ポイント
１）英語を話す時間
DETスコア１００以上を達成したい場合、６０秒以上話し続けることが必要だと思ってください、さらにハイスコアを目指す場合は、９０秒まで時間いっぱい話し続けましょう
２）Write About the Photoとの大きな違い。
問題自体は、Write About the Photoと見た目もやるべきことも、英語をアウトプットする際に活用する基本のテンプレートも同じ。しかし、大きく異なる点が１点。それは、
アウトプットのため与えられた制限時間とアウトプットすべき英語の量・比較
▷Write About the Photo ▷Speak About the Photo
- 制限時間 ６０秒（考える時間含む） ９０秒
- 英語の量 ３０words １００～１５０words （60～90秒）
※「英語の量」：最低限のワード数ではなく、ある程度のスコアを獲得するために必要なワード数を表記しています。
☛ はるかに多くの情報量が求められるSpeak About the Photo
上記数字より明らかなように、Speak About the Photoの解答に割り当てられる時間は、Write About the Photoに比べて約１．５倍長いですが、話すべき量は、３倍～５倍となっています。これは、受験者のレベルに関係なく、Speak About the Photoでは、かなりの発話量が求められることを理解しましょう。
☛ テンプレートの応用力
この問題においても重要な役割を果たすのがテンプレートです。今回はサンプル問題の中でWrite About the Photoで紹介したテンプレート以外に使える英語表現を赤色でハイライトし、紹介します。
＞＞＞４つのテンプレ表現でスコア１００突破！
1) 概要
「この写真は～を表しています」のように中心となる人やモノが何であるかを伝えます。写真の中心にいる人の状態やモノの状況を詳細に表現することが重要です。
2) 動作や場所
「（人）は、（場所）で（動作）しています」「（モノ）は、（場所）にあります」「（モノ）は、（色など状態）です」。１）で既に動作について話した場合、それ以外の人物の動作や場所についての描写をします。

・In the background：写真奥には
・In the foreground：写真手前には
・Beside (Next to)～：～の隣に
※next toは少々話し言葉っぽいのでライティングではbesideをお勧めします
・Just above～：～の真上に
・On the top left hand corner：左上隅（角）
3) 推測
「（人・モノ）は、～に違いない」「この写真は、（場所）で、または（人）によって撮られたに違いない」など、写真を見て推測できる情報について話します。
4) 追加情報
もし余裕があれば、AIが高く評価してくれるsignal word*を利用し、話しの中で様々な論理展開をする手法は、AIによる採点システムが高く評価するポイントです。
signal word*
道路の信号機のような役割を担うフレーズで、接続詞や副詞が使われます。使用目的は、直前の文や段落を受け、次の文や段落で具体的な例、反対意見、さらに詳しく論理を展開する際に使用され、論理の方向性を示す役割を果たします。以下にサンプルを紹介します.
・On the other hand：ところが一方で
・Furthermore / Moreover：さらに
・In addition to that：～に加えて
・Consequently：その結果
形容詞や副詞の使い方でスコアを伸ばすコツ！

どうですか。もちろん全ての項目で一番下の表現ができる必要はありません。ここでは、どのようにして表現を広げていくかというイメージを感じていただければ結構です。しかしながら、頭で理解するだけでなく、実際に制限時間を設定された緊張状態の中で多くの英語が話せるためには、日頃から意識して表現力を豊かにする努力が必要です。
